HOW TO USE

To Use as a Smoker

  1. Properly place bottom charcoal grate in the bottom of the grill. DO NOT USE WITHOUT BOTTOM GRATE!

  2. Open one bottom vent and close one bottom vent.

  3. Prepare charcoals. (Highly recommend using a “Chimney” type charcoal starter.)

  4. Pour hot coals into the grill and pile them onto one side directly over the open vent.

  5. Properly place top cooking grates.

  6. Place food onto the cooking grate that is located directly above the closed vent. (On the opposite side of the coals.)

  7. Close the lid.

  8. Close top vent directly above the coals.

  9. Open top vent directly above the food..

  10. Cook to your desired temperature.

  11. When finished, close all vents and allow coals to cool before moving.

To Use as a Grill

  1. Properly place bottom charcoal grate in the bottom of the grill. DO NOT USE WITHOUT BOTTOM GRATE!

  2. Open both bottom vents.

  3. Prepare charcoal. (Highly recommend using a “Chimney” type charcoal starter.)

  4. Pour hot coals into the grill and spread evenly over both open vents.

  5. Properly place the top cooking grates.

  6. Place food evenly on the grill.

  7. Close the lid.

  8. Open both top vents.

  9. Cook to your desired temperature.

  10. When finished, close all vents and allow coals to cool before moving.
